In the case that you want to man your own boat, you must fill out a simple form with your previous experience, regardless of whether you have a nautical license or not. Once completed, you send it to us and in 24 hours we will respond if you were authorized to man the selected boat on your own. However, in the Mediterranean, the compulsory nature of the license will depend on the destination in which you want to sail.

In the case of an all-inclusive service with crew on board, no previous experience is necessary. For river boats, no license or prior authorization is necessary.

It depends on the ship. In general, the maximum capacity of the larger boats that do not require a crew is 12 people. In the case of all-inclusives, there are boats of up to +30 people with a separate crew.

There are two types of insurance: boat insurance for damages that may occur to it (it is mandatory and is paid per rental day) and cancellation insurance (it is not mandatory and is paid per person). The latter allows a 100% refund of the money in case of canceling the trip due to force majeure.

In general, it is 5 days for all destinations and 7 days for the Mediterranean in high season (July & August). In the case of river boats, the minimum is 3 days.

It is recommended to book as far in advance as possible. Due to the price structure of companies, similar to that of airlines, the earlier you book, the greater the possibility of getting a better price for the boat you want. The difference in price, of the SAME boat, can be up to 15% when booking with little anticipation. It is recommended to do it more than 3 months in advance.

No, space on ships is limited (less on superyachts and large gulets). Likewise, you do not have to worry since each base has its space where you can leave all the bags under lock and key and take only the clothes you need.

It depends on the destination you choose and the type of boat. Usually, one takes and leaves the boat at 12 noon. However, there are companies that have special regimes where you may have to take the boat at 6 p.m. and leave it at 11 a.m. With regard to Superyachts, the schedule is coordinated in each case at the customer’s convenience.
